To gain full access to Ratefy Market features and build trust with customers, all users are required to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to walk you through the process:

What You Need to Prepare

Before you start the KYC process, ensure you have the following:

• Your National Identification Number (NIN)
• Your Bank Verification Number - Why we request your BVN
• A clear photo of yourself (selfie)
• A stable internet connection

Steps in completing KYC 

As soon as your Ratefy Account is created, you will be directed to the Marketplace homepage, which has the requirements for a functional Ratefy Account.

First, you will need to 

• Verify your email, 
• Authorise your WhatsApp, and ;

Finally, submit your KYC 

Why Do I Need to Authorise WhatsApp?

WhatsApp authorisation is needed now to help you get first-hand notifications when new offers come up 

For WhatsApp authorisation, you will need 

• To confirm your WhatsApp number or enter a new one, and;
• Scan the QR code that pops up to direct you to our WhatsApp Support Agent, who will complete the authorisation process.

Once this is complete, you can proceed with the KYC submission.

KYC Submission

The KYC submission is in three stages 

• Personal Information
• Identity Verification and;
• Work declaration

For the personal Information,  you will need to provide your 

• Date of birth
• Gender
• State 
• City
• Address
• Zipcode and;
• House number 

After providing the necessary information, click continue, and you will be directed to the Identity verification page, where you will need to provide your
